George is a Founder of Elgee Rehfeld. He specializes in tax preparation, planning, estate and other tax services, as well as consulting. Having spent over thirty years serving clients in a variety of industries, he works hard to stay current with ever-changing tax laws, IRS rulings, and court decisions. Furthermore, he is responsible for the firm’s election-certification services, an area of expertise offered by the firm for over 30 years.

After decades of service to our firm and the community—including serving as Alaska’s Director of the State Division of General Service and Supply, along with being the 2012 Juneau Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year—George in now retired. With his newfound free time, George enjoys fishing, golfing and traveling with Myrna, his wife of 30 years.
