Karen is an Audit Partner at Elgee Rehfeld. For over twenty-five years Karen has worked closely with clients in several industries, specializing in working with governmental and not-for-profit clients. Her knowledge of these organizations gives her in-depth insight into the issues related to these industries’ statements and financial disclosures. Karen has extensive comprehension of both Federal and State Single Audits for Alaska, and their compliance requirements. She provides oversight for the firm in this area of the practice. In addition, Karen oversees the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit practice.

Karen has been involved with Juneau Glacier Valley Rotary club for over 20 years. During that time, she has been involved in the Youth Exchange program and is passionate about sharing Alaska with students from around the world. In her free time, she enjoys rafting, reading, walking the dogs, learning Spanish, traveling, and spending time with friends and her amazing family.
